Arts Education Summer Semester Reopening!

The City of Tracy, Grand Theatre Center for the Arts is excited to open their doors once more! The Arts Education Program welcomes back instructors and students of all ages to in-person programming at the Grand this summer. Summer Semester will begin on Tuesday, July 6 and continue through September 2, 2021.

“We have classes planned in all five disciplines: dance, drama, music, literary arts and visual arts. Classes will include some of our student’s favorites such as Tahitian dance, musical theatre camps, drawing classes, and a Paint Night event. We will also have a new literary arts camp involving puppets” says Valerie Pavlakis, Cultural Arts Program Coordinator at the Grand.

Modifications for all classes will be made using current local and state safety guidelines, and will be updated as needed.

Registration for Arts Education Program classes can be made online at or in person at Patron Services at the Leona Darr Willis Box Office, during normal business hours.

While the Grand Theatre Center for the Arts remains closed to the public due to COVID, the on-going Spring/Summer semester of Distance Learning continues through June 30, 2021.
