Ballet Folklorico Raices Mexicanas (Roots of Mexico) was founded in 2006 by Maria Valdovinos, who believed that Mexican traditional dance should continue throughout the San Joaquin County. Ballet Folklorico’s mission is to continue educating people about Mexican heritage through traditional dancing.
