9th Annual Downtown Tracy Artwalk

Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM
This event is in conjunction with the Arts Education Program’s Dia de Los Muertos Family Day

This event is FREE and open to the public!
 
The Artwalk is a free, self-guided public event featuring local visual and performing artists, community organizations, and vendors in downtown venues and on the sidewalks of Central Avenue near/around the Grand.

The City of Tracy and the local business district collaborate to create a network of creative displays and activities. This annual event series – now in the 9th year – is always fun, interesting, and draws thousands of visitors each summer to historic downtown Tracy!
 
We invite you to meet the artists of our creative community, experience and purchase art, visit with local merchants, enjoy the hospitality of downtown eateries, and be a participant in one of the unique, artful events that make Tracy special. The Artwalk is perfect for a family outing, adventure with friends, or shopping excursion!

On behalf of the City of Tracy, the Tracy Arts Commission welcomes applications for the Re-Granting Program for Tracy-based artists of all kinds, arts educators, and arts organizations who seek to develop and presents arts and cultural-based projects in Tracy. Projects must be accessible to the public in the form of events and activities such as classes, exhibits, festivals, performances, screenings, readings, and workshops.

Whether you’ve been working on a song, dance, poem, rap, or riff that you want to show off, this is your chance to shine. Not ready to perform? This is the perfect opportunity to hear the creative process of our local talent and perhaps be inspired for the future!

 

Maximum 5 minutes per performer.
*(2) basic microphones and a plugin for phone/MP3 player playback will be provided for performers. Power for amps. Instruments, or other devices that are not battery powered will not be provided.

Before Mötley Crüe, before RATT, even before Metallica, Y&T was slogging away in sweaty rock clubs around America. When the band formed in the early ‘70s, little did they know they would set the standard for hard rock bands that followed. Many of the biggest acts of the ‘80s became popular opening for headliners Y&T – and cut their teeth on the band. Whether performing to a festival crowd of 50,000 or in an intimate nightclub, Y&T’s high-energy set and passionate performances still captivate legions of fans around the globe.
